Who is this course for? What should you expect?


  • This course will most strongly benefit new and newer pairs of co-teachers who want to work on building their relationship, learn more about the models of co-teaching, learn some effective and efficient ways of co-planning, learn about best practices of data collection and how to use data to improve instruction. This course will also benefit anyone who is trying to learn more about co-teaching, however this course is designed to be a collaborative activity to be completed with co-teaching partners.


  • Co-planning pairs should expect to learn about all of the above through T4T created documents, videos, youtube videos and research based articles. Co-planning pairs should expect to learn a lot, have time to implement some of this new learning and have plenty of time to talk and discuss!


  • Co-teaching is am amazing way to grow as a teacher, teach students more effectively and positively impact the social emotional learning of your students as well. Whether your focus is co-teaching now or co-teaching in the future, this course will help you to grow in your understanding of the basics of co-teaching and the reasons why it is so amazing.


Learn

Listen, read and discuss in order to learn about yourselves, your partners, your students, the models of co-teaching and best practices related to before, during and after co-teaching.

Collaborate

Work with your co-teaching partner to facilitate future co-planning sessions, virtual co-planning sessions, differentiated materials and UDL materials. Determine how and when to effectively. use the different models of co-teaching and implement them throughout your co-planned lessons.

Execute

Use the best practices you learn about facilitation, data collection and how to improve instruction based on data in order to create effective co-taught lessons, assignments and assessments!
